“We moved to West Des Moines from out of state a little over a year ago and By Design quickly became one of our favorite “go-to” places for home furnishings. We like to browse and the staff has always been helpful. Recently, we decided to furnish our downstairs finished basement. We started to work with Jessica. We had rough ideas, but no real plan. What was helpful, is she came out to the house, did measurements, took note of the colors. Then within a week, she had us come into the store and she completely sketched out the downstairs (furniture layout, color choices). I’d say we probably had everything for downstairs selected and on order within 90 minutes. She made it so easy and we are so excited to see our downstairs come to life. We will definitely use By Design and Jessica again.”
