My husband and I began a kitchen remodeling project that soon expanded and turned into an update of the dining and open living space as well. We know what we like when we see it, but have a tough time articulating our “style” and putting all of the pieces together. To make the update even more challenging, the space was at our lake getaway about five hours away. We first thought we’d work with stores closer to the lake, but after unsuccessfully searching on our own, we came to Laura and by Design. We showed her pictures and measurements and she asked many questions. Very quickly, she had design plans to share that were right on the mark and created the “fun” that we were looking for, as well as being very functional. In retrospect, I wish we had come straight to by Design in the first place! Using the services of someone trained in design who listens and creates solutions that are a reflection of our taste is a customer service that can’t be beat.
