Late last fall, we were introduced to one of our newest vendors: Oios Metals. Ever since then, the company and their products have made quite the impression… both on us and our clients!

Their products are made in the USA and are primarily manufactured with carbon steel. Their “pièce de résistance” is dining tables, but their product library ranges even further to include chairs, stools, bars, fire pits, and much more. The huge number of products available is amazing. Plus, we can choose from a wide range of colors, finishes, sizes and shapes! Can’t find the exact size you’re looking for in the catalog? and how we used it
Take my recent project in Urbandale for example. This family of five loves to host the holiday meals at their home so they needed a table that could seat up to fourteen. The catch? The table needed to be durable enough to combat the inevitable wear and tear from their three young children on a day to day basis. We immediately looked to Oios Metals, and my client loved the idea of the finished metal table.
In the end, we were able to customize a 5’ x 10’ table for her dining room. Now, when I say customize, I mean customize! Not only was the size special, but I was also on the phone weekly with the engineers at Oios, to design two bases that would be sturdy enough to handle the large metal top and still give each individual at the table enough leg room. We added eight Oios dining chairs for everyday use – and, when family comes for the Holidays, chose to scoot up these Norwalk Ottomans (built specifically to dining chair height for this purpose) for extra seating.
