A New Home Calls for New Furniture!

I was lucky enough to work with a very nice family- the Kruegers- who had recently moved to the West Des Moines area! Michelle came into by Design wanting unique, well made furniture. She said our store was the perfect fit for their design needs. 🙂

We started with the main level living room. Michelle really responded to reds. This made it simple to make the room both vivid and warm. She loved the style of the Fisher Sofa pictured here. The Fisher is an up-to-date design with French country influences. This gives it a wonderful air of elegant, yet casual comfort. The Natalie chair complements the style very nicely while adding a unique shape to the arrangement. The big ottoman in the middle makes the space feel cozy and makes a statement with the fun fabric. Overall, this room has a good mix of sophistication while being very comfortable.

The Krueger’s wanted the lower level to be the hangout spot in the new home. The Linkin sectional is a nice, big, conversational piece that can sit a lot of people. The blue fabrics are a nice contrast look to the main level while still providing the cozy look and feel. The Kruegers were very excited about the Miles chair in this stunning patterned fabric. Overall, this space is so inviting and makes for a great relaxing area.
