Josh and Jaycie took on a large project of tearing down a wall and opening up their Ankeny home. They quickly realized that it created some challenges for seating arrangements. That’s when I got involved to help make it a new space they would use & LOVE!

After finding out they have 2 small daughters, I made sure all of the fabrics we chose were kid-friendly, so they wouldn’t have to worry. The furniture arrangement was the key to everything so they would use all of the space.

The living room area that you see when you come in is inviting with a condo-sized sofa (Zoey) and 2 club chairs (Linkin) all anchored by a round textured rug. The ladies can sip wine here while the guys watch the game at the other end of the great room.
The family room area has an expansive sectional (Colton) with a chaise for maximum comfort. It is highlighted with button tufting and a cool metal base. The two Stephanie swivel gliders will be a great area to read or rock the girls. The ocean blue color adds richness and color to the neutral gray palette. The large storage ottoman adds some fun in a faux ostrich vinyl too.
The two rooms just became one wonderful area for Josh and Jaycie to entertain and enjoy living in! Thanks to Josh & Jaycie for trusting me to make your home something that you will love for years to come!
