Within a couple of months of completing their main floor living room, repeat clients Tracey & Greg of Waukee decided they wanted Jessica’s help with their lower-level family room project too. That’s right… INTERIOR DESIGN ON ANOTHER LEVEL!
They loved the angled sectional in their living room and wanted to mimic that look downstairs. The Linkin sectional fit the bill wonderfully with its angled loveseat.
The goal of the lower level space was to create a fun atmosphere for friends and family to hang out and watch TV or shoot some pool. The Linkin sectional provides ample seating along with the Zazu swivel gliders and ottoman.
The layout was an important factor for this floor plan as well. We wanted to be sure there was ample seating that still allowed a flow through the room to the bar and pool table areas. The angled end of the sectional is perfectly situated for conversation or nestling in to watch TV. The swivel chairs are a versatile seating option for swiveling toward the bar/pool table areas or the TV/fireplace.
While keeping the original trunk coffee table, we layered in a new rug that echoes the warm colors of the slate floors. A couple of arm accent tables added in allow for an easily accessible surface no matter where you sit!
The Linkin sectional in a grey fabric makes for a comfy, neutral backdrop. Multi-colored pillows help to blend the brown and grey together in the space.
THE RESULTS
The Zazu Swivel Gliders look great under Tracey & Greg’s existing artwork.
The completed design achieves a space that is ideal for large gatherings or a quiet movie night! It’s worth repeating: Interior design on another level.
Thank you so much to Tracey & Greg for your continued business!
