Apartment Therapy recently named the top design style in every state. Although Modern Farmhouse was the top interior design style for the entire nation… in Iowa the INDUSTRIAL INTERIOR DESIGN STYLE was number 1! Of course BY DESIGN works with every one of these styles. But, we do love us some industrial. And apparently, so do many of you!
And here is one thing about industrial: you can go all the way industrial or you can mix a bit in with almost any other style in your room. That is probably the secret in why our designers like it. Industrial has an amazing flexibility to add some interest and zing to a room design.
Industrial is first and foremost about materials. These concrete and chrome tables are so cool and add amazing attitude to this room.
Upholstery pieces are generally where you add some softness and comfort to an Industrial design style room. However, we thought this Ella sofa with its metal frame and cool webbing details was fabulous.
This steel Branson bar cabinet is elegant, yet its industrial look brings it down to earth.
