Interior Design Trend: Modern Nomad

One of our great vendors recently highlighted what they called the Modern Nomad Style Interior Design Trend. It is a great look (part of what BY DESIGN would call the Organic Modern Design Style.) We offer it up in hopes it inspires you.

Creating a comfortable sanctuary of inspired design, Modern Nomad infuses traditional minimalism with exciting new energy.

Soft Volume, warm leathers, earthen stone, heavy texturing, and natural woods craft a freshly curated, global look with a built-in sense of individuality.

Reza Dining Table

This room is all about a calm interplay of wood finishes and white fabric. The Reza table and server are finished in Toasted Acacia and Toasted Honey. This warm effect is then contrasted beautifully by the white texture of the Hobson dining chair. These armless dining chairs are upholstered in a chunky, cream-colored boucle. Wow.

Clarita Sideboard

Mid century-spirited while beautifully on trend. A texture-driven sideboard of white-washed mango features door fronts with natural cane paneling. Spacious interior for plenty of storage space. Adjustable shelving plus rear cutouts for cord management. The cane emphasizes the natural and organic aspect of the room and adds yet another subtle texture. This Modern Nomad Interior Design Trend, like every good interior design style, is created by layering multiple design ideas together.

Meza Nesting Coffee Table

Meza. Made from white-finished concrete with deep, textured pitting. Inspired by mid-century coral décor, this nesting coffee table features two tiers for a layered look with modernity. So… very modern design styles here presented in a nod back to earlier designs.

Babuko Server

A natural, beautifully storied look. Reclaimed teak features intricate hand carving for an abstract, antique-inspired look, with gorgeous precision that speaks to designer Tracey Boyd’s fashion background. The Modern Nomad Interior Design Style is all about that story.

Bloor Sofa

Bloor is deep, modern and seductive. This dramatic, spacious sofa is covered in a durable light neutral woven fabric that mixes well with the warm carmel color pallete.

Grano Dining Table & Villa Dining Chair

The Grano dining table is cast from plaster-molded concrete. It radiates crisp, clean “adobe” vibes. Grano is made from white-finished concrete. It’s voluminous clover-shaped base supports a thick-rounded tabletop for dramatic scale. The soft, yet textured, look pairs with a wide range of chair styles, from natural woods to leather, and more. The Villa dining chair, from sand-colored beech wood forms a clean frame. Light beige cowhide crafts a monochromatic look with plenty of natural texture. Another great Interior Design Trend Modern Nomad room.

Anderson Bed

This Anderson Bed is a texture story. Upholstered in a classic cream-colored boucle. Decorative leather straps add a material-driven touch of contrast.
